About the Zohran Promise Tracker
Zohran Mamdani has successfully run a catalyst campaign, the likes of which has captured NYC and much of the United States by a certain political energy unseen for over a decade. In the current media landscape, misinformation, disinformation, and misrepresentation of Zohran’s post-election successes may become blurred, misconstrued, and attacked on all sides with the aim of disenchanting the populace from taking greater civic action and electoral participation. Thus, in an effort to adapt civic duty to the technology we use in our daily lives, we are aiming to compartmentalize the visualisation of Mayor Mamdani’s.
Though New York City residents are likely to directly feel and benefit from him keeping his campaigns promises, it will also enable Americans to cut through the noise on whether or not his policies are possible to implement, whether he can deliver those promises, and prove to the electorate that we can hold truth to power and be equally capable of measuring the integrity of our leaders.
Method
- Complete - A policy or execution action has been effectively implemented through acts of the City Council, City Bureaucracy, or direct Mayoral intervention.
- In Progress - A policy or executive action is in the process of being voted on, being drafted, or being fully executed with a timeline incorporated into the policy’s process.
- Stalled - A policy or executive action that was within the in progress or open category but then was either rejected by means such as being voted down, or a judge blocking an order.
- Open - No movement on a policy or executive action that has not yet been announced, drafted, or introduced by acts of the City Council, City Bureaucracy, or direct Mayoral intervention.
